Permits keep ahead of last year despite slow June
Although the month of June was a slight year-over-year decline (15 fewer permits), the trailing 12-month total is 7,753 permits issued for the four-county area, according to Wolfe Jackson, The Resource Group. In a quarter-to-quarter comparison, 2016 shows an increase in permits. For the first quarter 2015, the total was 1,399 and for 2016, it was 1,968.
